The family drama “Way Back Home” from Star Cinema grossed P25.80 million on its second week run from 80 theaters nationwide.
This is according to the latest figures posted by Box Office Mojo for the period August 24–28, 2011 (click HERE to see the full figures). With this gross, Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo’s launching movie climb at no. 10 in our list of highest-grossing Pinoy films for 2011 beating the final box office receipts of another Star Cinema film (together with SineScreen), “The Adventures of Pureza”.
In terms with the first five days gross of the latest movie offering of GMA Films (with SMDC) “Tween Academy Class of 2012”, there’s still no local figures released as of this moment on Box Office Mojo.
