“Shamcey Gurrea Supsup, from General Santos City and born in 1986 in Iligan City, is a Filipino beauty titleholder who will represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. She was crowned as Miss Philippines Universe on April 10, 2011 through the 2011 Binibining Pilipinas pageant and took over the crown from the 2010 winner and Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj.

Supsup, a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Architecture, graduated as Salutatorian from Makati High School, Magna Cum Laude from University of the Philippines with a degree in Architecture and was a Top Notcher (#1) in the Philippine Architectural Board Examination of 2010.”
