2011 MMFF Box-Office Update: 'Enteng Ng Ina Mo' Grosses P183-M in Just 1 Week, 'Segunda Mano' Overtakes 'Panday 2' for Second Place

Patuloy na pinipilahan at tinatangkilik ng buong sambayanan ang fantasy-comedy film nina Bossing Vic Sotto at Aiai Delas Alas na “Enteng Ng Ina Mo”.
 

Sa kalalabas lamang na box office figures mula sa pamunuan ng MMDA ngayong hapon, nananatiling NUMERO UNO ang pelikulang “Enteng ng Ina Mo”. Ito ay may ticket sales na P183.21 million sa loob lamang ng isang linggo (Dec. 25, 2011 to Jan. 1, 2012). Sinundan naman ito ng Segunda Mano na pinagbibidahan ni Kris Aquino na may box-office gross na P94.63 million. Tinalo ng horror-suspense movie ni Kris ang sequel fantasy film na “Panday 2” ni Sen. Bong Revilla na may kitang P86.31 million.
 

Sa puntong ito, masasabi ng ang pelikulang “Enteng ng Ina Mo” nina Bossing Vic at Aiai ang “Top-Grossing MMFF Film” ngayong taon dahil sa sobrang laki ng lamang nila sa pumapangalawa na Segunda Mano. Speaking of Segunda Mano, paniguradong masayang-masaya si Kris sa tinatakbo ng kaniyang latest horror-film. Mukhang matutupad ang kaniyang ninanais na mag-no. 2 ang kaniyang pelikula. Ngunit maaari pang humabol ang Panday 2 dahil halos may anim na araw pa na tatakbo ang 37th MMFF.

'Enteng Ng Ina Mo' Leads First Day of MMFF Box-Office Race with a Record-Breaking P38.5-M

Enteng Ng Ina Mo is breaking all records in MMFF opening day history!

As expected, “Enteng Ng Ina Mo,” a fantasy-comedy film starring two Box Office Comedy Royalties, Vic Sotto and Ai Ai delas Alas, topped the 2011 MMFF box-office race on its opening day. The said movie was grossed P38.5 million- a new record to beat after successfully exceeding the P31 million opening ticket sales of another fantasy film “Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote” (2010).
 

Meanwhile, Bong Revilla’s “Panday 2” came in second with P20 million followed by Kris Aquino’s “Segunda Mano” with P18.25 million.

'Enteng ng Ina Mo' Official Movie Poster and Full Trailer Released

ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc., M-Zet TV Productions, APT Productions and Octo Arts Films has unveiled the official movie poster and trailer for their 2011 MMFF entry “Enteng ng Ina Mo”.
 

“Enteng ng Ina Mo” is top-billed by Reigning Box-Office King Vic Sotto and Box-Office Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
 

Other cast-members include Marvin Agustin, Oyo Sotto, Carlo Aquino, Alwyn Uytingco, Nikki Valdez, Aiza Seguerra, Bing Loyzaga, Amy Perez, Gwen Zamora, Ruby Rodriguez, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Xyriel Manabat, with the special participation of Eugene Domingo.
 

Directed by Tony Y. Reyes, the film is set to open in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2011 together with other 6 MMFF Film Entries.

'Enteng ng Ina Mo' – First Teaser Released

The teaser for the much awaited team-up movie project of the two box-office comedians- Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas’ “Enteng ng Ina Mo” is released.
 

Enteng ng Ina Mo is an upcoming comedy-fantasy movie and an official entry by ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc., M-Zet TV Productions, APT Productions, and OctoArts Films for the 37th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
 

It is top-billed by the current Box Office King and Queen, Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai Delas Alas. Members of its cast include Jose Manalo, Carlo Aquino, Nikki Valdez, Xyriel Manabat, to name just a few.
 

Under the direction of Tony Reyes, Enteng ng Ina Mo opens in theaters on December 25, Christmas Day along with other 7 films.
