Box-Office Update: 'Won't Last a Day Without You' - P78.96-M, 'The Road' – P34.08-M in 3 Weeks

The Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo starrer–”Won’t Last A Day Without You” has raked in P78.96 million at the box office in 3 weeks.
 

The Viva Films-Star Cinema latest romantic-comedy flick managed to rake in P13.67 million last week (December 14–18) in the presence of Hollywood film “Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol” which topped Philippine box-office with a haul of  P61.32 million in 4 days. Won’t Last A Day Without You is now has a running gross of P78.96 million in 3 weeks.
 
Another local movie which also runs on its third week of screening, “The Road” under GMA Films managed to add P2.84 million last week for a total 3rd week gross now of P34.08 million. With these great ticket sales, Yam Laranas’ latest thriller The Road is now at no. 13 in the list of top-grossing Pinoy films for 2011 while Won’t Last A Day Without You settled in 5th spot.

Yam Laranas’ ‘The Road’ Hits P31.24-M in 2 weeks

GMA Films' latest thriller, “The Road” registered a box-office gross of P31.24 million in 2 weeks.
 

Aside with the romantic-comedy flick “Won’t Last a Day Without You”, Yam Laranas’ latest horror film The Road was also doing well at the Box Office. As of December 11, it has grossed P31.24 million on its 2nd week of screening in 60 major movie theaters in the country (click HERE to see the full figures).
 
The Road is now at no. 16 in the list of top-grossing Pinoy films for 2011. The movie is projected to have a final box-office receipt of P40-M+ before the opening of MMFF this December 25.

GMA Films 'The Road' Official Full Trailer Released

Catch here the official full trailer of GMA Films' upcoming horror movie “The Road ".


The Road” is a tri-part movie about three decades of mysterious deaths on a road. It stars Carmina Villarroel, Marvin Agustin, Rhian Ramos, TJ Trinidad, Barbie Forteza, Ynna Asistio, Louise Delos Reyes, Lexie Fernandez, Derek Monasterio, Alden Richards, and Wendell Ramos.

Directed by award-winning director, Yam Laranas. “The Road” opens in theaters nationwide this November.

Sypnosis


A twelve year old cold case is reopened when three teens are missing in an abandoned road. In the course of the investigation, deeper and gruesome stories of abduction and murders are discovered. After more than two decades, the secrets of the haunted road may finally be revealed.
