Box-Office Update: ‘Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi!’ P30.5-M in 2 Weeks, ‘Tween Academy’ P32.23-M in 3 Weeks, ‘Zombadings 1’ P19.05-M in 2 Weeks

The comedy film from Star Cinema and OctoArts Film titled “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi!” hits P30.5 million on its 2nd week run from 95 theaters.
 

This is according to the latest figures released by Box Office Mojo for the period September 7–11, 2011 (click HERE to see the full figures) The Toni Gonzaga-Eugene Domingo starrer “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi!” accumulated more than P14 million last week. The film moves up to no. 10 in the list of Highest-Grossing Pinoy Movies for 2011 from no. 13 on its debut.
 

Meanwhile, the teen-flick from SMDC and GMA Films’ “Tween Academy: Class of 2012” starring the hottest teen stars of Kapuso Network earns P32.23 million on its 3rd week run from 35 theaters. The romantic-teen movie is now up 1 place to no. 9.
 

The indie-film “Zombadings 1: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington” starring Martin Escudero was also doing well at the Box-Office. It surpass its first 5-days gross (P7.51-M). The said indie-film added almost P12 million on its 2nd week of showing despite the no. of screens decrease from 80 to 60.
