‘Tween Academy: Class of 2012’ Beats ‘Way Back Home’ at Box Office

The second week screening of “Tween Academy: Class of 2012” bested the second week gross of Star CinemasWay Back Home.”
 

GMA Films and SMDC’s jointly produced teen flick “Tween Academy: Class of 2012” starring the hottest teen stars of Kapuso Network registered a box-office gross of P29.9 million in two weeks from 75 theaters for the period August 31–September 4, 2011 according to Box-Office Mojo (click HERE to see the report).
 
With this outstanding box office receipt, the said youth-oriented film overpowers the “2nd Week Gross” of the family-drama filmWay Back Home” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes. The Star Cinema movie has only grossed P25.8 million in 2 weeks from 80 theaters (click HERE to see the report). Again! This evaluation is for “2nd Week Gross” only and NOT the final box-office gross of both movies. In terms with the 3rd week gross of the said 2 Pinoy Films, there’s still no data available (as of today) @ Box Office Mojo.
