“My Househusband: Ikaw Na!” Bloggers Conference Night, a Fun, Huge Success
Talking about creating an entertaining and yet of good morale value family-oriented film, who do you think best fit the job? No one but Direk Jose Javier Reyes.
And to provide best justice to the role of husband and wife whose marriage life revolves around an extra-exciting fun-filled roller coaster ride, I am pretty sure you would agree with me 100% when I say it would be real-life married couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.
After their hit tandem in the MMFF blockbuster movies Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo in 2006 and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo in 2007, Direk Joey, Juday and Ryan returns in another comedy movie about a non-traditional set-up of a married couple where the husband who is supposedly providing for his family is the one who takes care of the house and kids while the wife looks after putting food on the table. Along the way, situations arise that test the arrangement and their relationship.
In the third leg of bloggers conference for the movie “My Househusband, Ikaw Na” held on December 7 at Napa Restaurant in Quezon City, Juday and Ryan talks about this Octo Arts produced film which is also happen to be one of the entries in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) which will start on December 25, Christmas day.
My Househusband: Ikaw Na! Storyline:
The movie is about a man “who is forced by circumstances to take care of his family and do house chores” while his wife “has to be the one to take on a job.”
Joining Juday and Ryan is blockbuster comedienne Eugene Domingo who plays Aida, the mistress of a man who lives next door and eventually ends up as Rod's BFF.
