Why Lady Gaga got naked for Tony Benett???

Anyone who watched the holiday special, A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, probably experienced a mix of emotions ranging from amusement to dismay and then, of course, shock.

 

  The singer, who came up with the idea for the special (and directed it!), revealed something pretty unexpected – Tony Bennett has seen her naked!

 

Apparently, famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz, suggested that the former member of the Rat Pack sketch some nude pictures of Lady Gaga for an issue of Vanity Fair which will be released next year. 

 

Both parties agreed and the rest was explained by the pop singer herself.

                                  "I walked in and said, 'Well Tony, here we are' and I dropped my robe and I got into position," Gaga, 25, explained. 

 

"I felt shy and thought, 'It's Tony Bennett, why am I naked?'… He's so handsome. I feel terrible whenever his wife is around because he's so charming and such a gentleman."

The admiration is mutual.

Of Gaga, 85-year-old Bennett said: "She is the most beautiful person I ever met but there is something special about her."

 

The pair performed "The Lady Is a Tramp" together for Bennett's Duets II album.
