Sam Pinto – Women’s Health August 2011 Cover
Philippines Finest Sam Pinto is on the cover of Women’s Health Philippines’ August 2011 issue.
It looks her choice to transfer over rival network (GMA-7) of her home station (ABS-CBN) is a career wise move to Sam. TV Series, Regular Shows, Commercials, Product Endorsements, Magazine Covers and her recent triumph, the prestigious title as the Sexiest Woman of the Philippines. No wonder that GMA-7 successful again to make another potential lead female star in the character of Sam.

John Lloyd Cruz leads this year's YES! 100 Most Beautiful list
Last June 2010, PEP officially unveiled their annual list of 100 Most Beautiful Stars. And the Kapamilya Young Actress Kim Chiu was named as the most beautiful star by the said entertainment magazine (click HERE to see the 2010 list).
It was Judy Ann Santos who covers the magazine in 2007, KC Concepcion in 2008, Marian Rivera in 2009, and last year topnotcher, Kim Chiu. The question that's on everyone's minds, who will lead this year’s YES! Magazine 100 Most Beautiful Stars?
Well, everyone was expecting that the next winner will be another female star (even us here) but just a few minutes ago at the on-going grand press launch, YES! Magazine just got announced the stars who are included in its annual list. And Kapamilya Dramatic Actor John Lloyd Cruz is on cover for 2011 and was hailed The Most Beautiful Star.
John Lloyd is the first ever male celebrity who has been cover for the said annual special issue. Last year, he belongs to the list under the Category "A-Listers" along with Sarah Geronimo, Angel Locsin, Judy Ann Santos, Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Piolo Pascual, Richard Gutierrez, and Gerald Anderson.
Notably that in Yes! Magazine's 20 Top Endorsers 2011 List, John Lloyd landed at no. 2 and amazingly surpassed the endorsement income of Megastar Sharon Cuneta (number 4) who was the 2008 Top Endorser. The list is said to based on the projected total earnings of the stars from their various product endorsements.
Well, Congratulations to Mr. John Lloyd Cruz for another triumph on his showbiz career. Bankable Leading Man, Top Male Endorser, Multi-awarded Actor, Box-Office King.. (naku! Ikaw na! lahat na ata ng title na sa iyo na…)

Dancing to the Beat of Life with GMA-7's New Primetime Series 'Time of My Life'
Known for producing groundbreaking programs, GMA Network introduces yet another unique and innovative show on Philippine TV. On August 1, the very first danserye titled Time of My Life premieres on GMA Telebabad.
Time of My Life features three of Starstruck's most talented discoveries who have all matured in their craft - Kris Bernal, Rocco Nacino and Mark Herras. Viewers should also look forward to seasoned actors Jean Garcia, Raymond Bagatsing and Cherie Gil showing off their dancing talent.
Packed with amazing dance and drama scenes, the danserye tells of Shane's (Kris) quest to fulfill her dream of becoming a real dancer. In the process, she uncovers things of the past as she explores the field of dancing.
Helping Shane achieve her dreams are two knights in shining armor: Jason (Rocco), her childhood friend; and Patrick (Mark), Jason's friend and founder of the Motion Masters dance group. With other friends, they compete against The Elite Crew led by Zaira (LJ Reyes) who is the protégé and stepdaughter of famous dancing queen, Lisa (Jean).
Because of the competition between Shane and Zaira, a former rivalry resurfaces between Lisa and Martha (Cherie), Shane's mother. Martha has long been angry and bitter because her dance partner and boyfriend, Fred, broke up with her to be with Lisa. Soon, the couple had a daughter named Lisette.
Unable to accept defeat, Martha schemed to dance with Fred again and set fire to the house where Lisa and Lisette were. However, Lisa followed Fred and, thus, only the child was believed to have perished in the fire.
This incident caused Fred and Lisa to part ways; Fred worked abroad while Lisa went back to her family and married Gregory (Emilio Garcia), the father of Zaira. On the other hand, Martha paid for her crime but kept with her in jail a secret about Fred and Lisa's child. Lisette did not really die in the fire but was saved by Martha's friend, Carlotta (Tanya Gomez). She was raised as Shane and grew up with a natural talent and interest in dancing.
After many years, Lisa, Fred and Martha cross paths again. To avenge herself, Martha discreetly manipulates the two to fight each other using their own daughter, Shane.
Will Fred and Lisa ever discover who Shane really is? Will this truth help or prevent the young dancer from fulfilling her dream? Will their family be reunited or drawn apart by arising complications?
A story about family, love and dreams, Time of My Life will inspire viewers to take hold of their loved ones as they work hard for their aim in life.
Completing the cast of the danserye are reputable actors: Ms. Caridad Sanchez as Lola Becky, the woman whom Patrick regarded as his grandmother; Rez Cortez as Douglas, Carlotta's husband who will make life difficult for Shane; Samantha Lopez as Lucinda, owner of the night club where Shane works; Geleen Eugenio as Janet, close friend of Lisa and choreographer of The Elite Crew; Joshua Zamora as Mario, Fred's best friend; and Ronnie Henares as Vernon, the lawyer who frees Martha from jail.
Time of My Life also showcases young talents who form the two dance troupes. The Elite Crew are: Steven Silva as John, Enzo Pineda as Donnie, Diva Motelaba as Lally, Yassi Pressman as Terry, Myra Carel (Jump In 1st runner up) as Paula. On the other hand, Motion Masters is composed of: Ryza Cenon as Rochelle, Sarah Lahbati as Pia, Sef Cadayona as Harry, Mayton Eugenio as Amera, Ken Chan as Rudolph, Teejay Marquez as Chicho, Renelee Asilum (Jump In grand winner) as Cynthia.
The very first danserye is based on original concept created for GMA Television by Senedy Que with head writer Des Garbes Severino, choreographers Miggy Tanchanco (modern) and Donald Balbuena (ballroom), and directors Mark Reyes (musicals) and Andoy Ranay (drama).
Beginning August 1, Time of My Life airs Monday to Friday on GMA-7's Telebabad block. It can also be seen worldwide through GMA Pinoy TV starting August 3.
